Public business sources

Published prices come from the business websites or booking pages linked beside the amounts. Business identity and location can also be supported by official municipal records, current chamber listings or business-controlled social pages; those records are labeled Public business source when no owned website is available. We preserve starting-price conditions and never infer a price from a places record. Quote-only listings have no recorded published price and do not enter price calculations.

Public discovery data

Some business candidates were discovered using Overture Maps Foundation Places, release 2026-10-21.0. The original record providers and license information are retained with those catalog entries. Providers include Meta, Microsoft, BrightQuery and other sources where identified. Foursquare records, where present, retain the notices below. Candidate discovery alone does not qualify a listing for publication.

What an automated website check means

For listings with that label, a programmatic check retrieved the company's public page, matched its identity using its name, distinctive website identity or phone number, found road-vehicle detailing services and an explicitly named city or service area, and screened for closure, unrelated businesses and parked domains. Ambiguous records remain unpublished. Mobile service is shown only when supported by the source.

These checks do not verify ownership, insurance, licensing, customer experience or municipal legal boundaries. A company can have an office outside a city while explicitly serving it. Business data can become stale; confirm details directly or use our correction and removal forms.

Geographic reference points

Nearby distances use public Overture business map points and 2025 Census Gazetteer representative city points. They are approximate straight-line distances. A map point is not a verified street address, driving distance or proof that a provider will travel to you. Nearby-only providers are excluded from local price comparisons.

Attribution and redistribution materials

Overture data is filtered and transformed by FairDetail and supplemented with source checks. Where applicable, the underlying data is available under CDLA-Permissive-2.0, Apache-2.0 or CC0-1.0. The data retains its original per-record provider information.

Business names belong to their respective owners. A listing does not indicate a partnership with FairDetail or an endorsement by a data provider.
