Who receives your information

FairDetail operates this price-research directory. Requests made through this site are delivered to the FairDetail operator and stored in its private request inbox. Use the privacy request form to contact us about your information.

Information you provide

When you send a request, we receive the name, email and any optional phone, vehicle category, service, ZIP, business details, website link and message you choose to provide. We use this to review your request, respond, correct information or handle a listing submission. Do not send card numbers, identity documents or other sensitive documents.

Businesses in the directory

Business contact details and prices come from publicly available business pages or reviewed submissions. Some businesses have no recorded public prices and require a quote. A directory listing does not create a partnership. Clicking Call or visiting a business website contacts that business directly, and its own privacy practices apply. Your form details are not automatically distributed to listed businesses.

Hosting, security and email

Cloudflare hosts the site and stores request records. Its infrastructure processes technical information such as IP addresses and request logs for operation and security. Request notifications are sent to the operator’s inbox using Cloudflare’s email service. We use short-lived, one-way identifiers derived from the connection address to limit abuse; the application does not store the raw connection address with your request.

Cookies and measurement

There are no advertising or third-party analytics cookies installed by FairDetail. A necessary form-security cookie lasts up to 30 minutes. The owner’s sign-in cookie lasts up to eight hours. We count Call and Website taps as aggregate business/day totals; a tap does not prove a completed call or sale. Google Fonts is used to load typography and may receive ordinary connection information when fonts are requested.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep request information for handling the request, resolving issues and necessary operational records. You can request access, correction or deletion using the privacy form. We may need to confirm that the request relates to you. Public business information can also be corrected or removed through the listing request form.

Your choices

You can browse source-linked listings and contact businesses without submitting a form. Optional phone information is not required for a FairDetail request. We do not sell request details or use them to enroll you in marketing texts.

Changes

If practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. A feature needing additional consent will ask for it before use.
